Audax event 21st March – Jack and Dave attempt the 300km Cambrian 3A

Jack Tyler and Dave Hollin are attempting to ride one of the toughest Audax rides in the book. The Cambrian 3A is 300Km long with around 15000 feet of climbing and takes in some of the most challenging roads in Mid Wales. Starting and finishing in Chepstow, the route will wind its way up to Abergavenny, Brecon, Tregaron, Builth Wells, Hay on Wye and Monmouth. Partway through the ride, the infamous Devil’s Staircase will be attempted. Although the ride is sanctioned by the Audax UK Club, it is an unsupported ride organised by the riders themselves so self reliance is key. Dave and Jack will hope to be doing this ride on the 21st March… to follow!
